Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be able to swim?
You should be comfortable in the water. Your instructor stays with you the whole time and you start in shallow water, so there is no need to be a strong swimmer.
What is the minimum age?
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is open from 10 years. Younger children can try the Bubble Maker program from 8 years.
Do I need a medical certificate?
Every participant completes the PADI medical questionnaire. If you answer "yes" to any question, you need a doctor’s approval before diving.
What is included in the price?
Two guided dives, the full equipment, lunch and drinks on board are included, as shown in our price list.
Can I fly after the dives?
Follow the common recommendation of waiting at least 12 hours after a single dive and 18 hours after several dives before flying. Plan your intro dive early in your holiday.
Does it count towards a diving certificate?
Yes. Under PADI standards the experience can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver course if you continue.
